Sesame Street: Once Upon a Monster

At present, the guide that I've most recently written for IGN is for Sesame Street: Once Upon a Monster. It's a kid's game and not terribly difficult, but I was looking for a fun project and this one certainly qualified.

Writing the Sesame Street: Once Upon a Monster guide posed some unique challenges, because the game was developed to require Kinect. I typically like to sit in a chair with my laptop situated on a folding table in front of my TV, so that I can play and write and capture screenshots all at once, but the aerobics that are required to play Once Upon a Monster made that impossible.

Section 8

Has it really been four years since I played through Section 8? I guess it has, and those four years have been filled with memorable gaming experiences. Perhaps that explains why I barely remember anything about Section 8, despite having once written quite a bit about it.

I won't try to shake loose my memories, either, not when my Section 8 review at HonestGamers lays things out just fine. Essentially, the single-player campaign was generic to a fault while the multi-player mode offered a neat alternative to the standard deathmatch options that are so prevalent within the genre.
