I wasn't ready for the series to end with Death and the Reaper. I had too many ideas left unexplored, and there were more loose ends still dangling than I had intended. I wrote this follow-up to provide a cheerier conclusion to the series. It should work as a finale, or to set things up for a possible next chapter (someday).

When I started writing Chronicles of an Amateur Reaper, this was the book I wrote. But I thought the series would develop with a lot more action and a lot less dialog, so I wrote follow-up stories that kicked things off in that vein. Now the original first installment is available as a prequel (and it's even free for some readers).
